I was excited to be able to make another loan today with Kiva. Today the loan of $25 was made to Almend Caay from Sapang Dalaga, Philippines.
Almend Caay is from the village of Guinabot. She is 36 years old, married and has 2 school-aged children. Almend owns and operates a food market, selling foods and delicacies in the local community. Almend has been engaged in her business for 7 years. This is actuall her 8th laon made through organizations like to KIve to help expand her business and provide for her family.She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve her family’s general living conditions.

Throughout the course of the loan (usually 6-12 months), you can receive email journal updates and track repayments. It is rewarding to get that email….saying your loan has been repaid and fun in slecting another person or group to help.

I was just doing some surfing on my Blackberry during my lunch at work , and I happened across something I thought was interesting . It linked over to your site so I jumped over. I can’t really find the relevance between your site and the one I came from, but your site good anyway.
